Tuesday, 14 September, 1999 - 22:00
AN event designed to provide decisionmakers with a network of new leads and contacts showcasing WA products and services will take place at the Perth Entertainment Centre from 21 to 23 September.

Presentations at the Business to Business Trade Show will be delivered by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Australian Tax Office, the Security Agents Institute of WA, the Australian Communications Authority and a range of local and interstate businesses.

Topics covered include computer technology, telecommunications, electronic commerce, service providers, finance, marketing and corporate accommodation.

Trade show event manager Daniel Rodger said the event would give business managers the opportunity to view new technology and discuss their benefits with the suppliers.

“At the event, attendees will build company exposure, generate qualified business leads and, in turn, increase sales and profits,” Mr Rodger said.

“The seminar program explores the technical aspects of operating a business in the new millennium, offering practical solutions in e-commerce – both rudimentary and advanced.

“Internet security, the effects of the GST, unfair dismissal, workplace agreements, direct marketing and successful negotiating will also be discussed,” he said.

Mr Rodger said holding the event during the week would attract serious attendees and exhibitors.
