JayPak Cartons was recently honoured at the inaugural National Employment Awards for Excellence. NESA, the peak body of the employment service industry, selected the organisation as one of only three finalists in a nation-wide search for Employer of the Year.Employers were judged on their commitment to disability employment group WorkFocus’ Job Net work and their willingness to give disadvantaged people a chance to work. According to Workfocus Australia, JayPak was chosen since it had employed a total of 47 staff in 2004, exclusively from the Job Network.
