JAPANESE speaking Western Australian school students have performed strongly in this year’s National Japanese Language Speech Contest securing two firsts and two seconds in the four divisions.
Amy Hilhorst won the first prize in the High School Senior Division and Lee Ling Tay won the first prize in the open division.
Kyong Jue Min and Asagi Muryama won second prizes in the Open Beginner Division and the Background Speaker Divisions respectively.
