Junior miner Jameson Resources says it has received firm commitments for a $2 million capital raising to fund work at its flagship Crown Mountain coking coal project in British Columbia.
Jameson said the placement would comprise of 14.3 million shares at an issue price of 14 cents per share, with an attached option valued at 16 cents.
It said the funds raised through the placement would be used to fund the ongoing environmental assessment work at Crown Mountain, including an ongoing permitting process.
The company has a 90 per cent interest in the project.
Perth-based stockbroking firm Euroz Securities acted as lead manager in the placement.
Jameson shares rose by 8 per cent to 13.5 cents per share at 9:45am.
