Iron ore miner IronClad Mining has appointed Patrick Clifford as project manager for the development of the Wilcherry Hill Iron Ore project in South Australia’s Eyre Peninsular iron ore province. Mr Clifford was, until recently, project manager, infrastructure, for the $1.1 billion Prominent Hill copper/gold project, also in South Australia. IronClad Mining is preparing to develop a four to five million tonnes per year mining operation at Wilcherry Hill, producing coarse crystalline magnetite ore and high quality iron concentrates.
