Introduction to Management Workshop

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia is conducting a workshop titled Introduction to Management and Supervision, on Tuesday December 9 and Wednesday December 10, at the Chamber or Commerce and Industry Centre for Learning.

Designed to provide new and prospective managers and supervisors with an introduction and overview of basic management skills the workshop will also assist with developing a practical action plan to suit both individual and organisational needs.

Topics that will be covered during the workshop include, the role of the new manager or supervisor; managing collaboratively; effective communication; understanding industrial relations systems; implementing basic health and safety guidelines; recruiting staff and introducing them to your organisation; and developing an action plan.
