NEW Zealand infrastructure and utilities investor Infratil Ltd’s Australian subsidiary has bought a 51 per cent stake in Western Australian energy retailer Perth Energy Ltd this week, through a share issue worth $7 million. Perth Energy, which currently has off-take agreements with eight landfill gas generators in the South West, is largely privately owned by management and executives.
