Mining and Petroleum Service Industries report
The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia has released a report on the nature, extent and importance of the mining and petroleum service industries.
The report reveals the mining and petroleum industries’ acquisition of goods and services injected an estimated $7,250 million into the WA economy in 2001-2002.
Overseas imports have been put at $1,250 million, and direct payments to employees at $3,000 million.
