BARKING Gecko Theatre Company’s Hidden Dragons has been awarded best production and its writer and actor Shirley Van Sanden has won best female actor at the WA Equity Guild Awards.
Hidden Dragons is the result of some of the company’s most experienced artists working together including long-time duo of director Grahame Gavin and designer Lough Westubury.
The production was developed in collaboration with the Chung Wah Association of Western Australia.
That organisation won a State Arts Sponsorship Award for the partnership.
