Heron Resources has undertaken a placement of eight million new shares at 25 cents each to raise $2 million.
The placement drew oversubscriptions of $40,000.
The funds raised will be used for drilling the Kalgoorlie Nickel Project as part of a pre-feasibility study, independent screen upgrade tests to be conducted by SGS Lakefield Oretest, and additional working capital.
