Perth recruiter Harrier Human Capital has won an outsourcing contract with retail giant Coles to manage recruitment of the supermarket’s 1,200 support centre positions as well as hundreds of leadership roles across the country.

Harrier said in a statement it would now deliver two of the four largest enterprise recruitment outsourcing contracts in the country.

The company began recruiting for Chevron in 2007.

Harrier was chosen from eight bidders to secure the three-year contract.

Coles employs more than 100,000 people across 2,200 retail outlets, which include Coles and Bi-Lo supermarkets, Coles Express, Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and First Choice Liquor.

Harrier chief executive officer Kelly Quirk said the contracts with Coles and Chevron were representative of the future of the expanding organisation.

Coles head of talent acquisition Christine Connor said although Harrier was a boutique company, they delivered with a lot of personality.

Harrier was a strong contender from the outset of this process, with their unique service delivery model, their understanding of our strategic goals and their unprecedented track record with the Chevron Australia contract,” Ms Connor said.
