Health and wealth is the order of the day. Be it a fun run for charity, a wine launch at the Perth Mint, or an international diary conference, a few businesses were looking to keep in top shape during recent weeks.

COOL Night Classic, the annual Pricewater-houseCoopers fun run for charity, was won by Hamish McElwee. But all those who raced against Hamish can console themselves with the information that he also won the 10km State Road Championships and the Fremantle Fun Run this year. Who can compete with that?

Other winners included Kelly Jarrett from Steinepreis Paganin, who was the fastest female runner.

Coflexip Stena Offshore won the corporate team prize for the biggest team entry (42 people were crazy enough to run from Barrack St Jetty to the Royal Perth Yacht Club).

A record 950 runners joined in the fun and raised $6000 for this year’s charity – the Association of Relatives and Friends of the Mentally Ill (WA) Inc.
