WHAT would any golf player feel like after a big day one the green, when the temperature starts to cool down? Delicious food and local quality wine could probably do the job. Sanctuary Resort is having the third edition of the ‘Epicurean Wine Dinner’ on June 9. This gourmet series pairs great food with wines from a local producer. The June dinner will feature a selection from Margaret River’s Watershed Premium Wines. A five-course dinner has been designed by chef Gavin Dyson, who will be dishing up delicacies such as a chicken and tarragon terrine, saffron and star anise cured baby snapper fillets, a rabbit fricassee or venison medallions. The dinner starts at 7pm and costs $72 per person with bed and breakfast packages also available.
