GRAHAM Keys, managing director and majority shareholder of Perth-based corporate consulting and investment company Norvest Corporate has been appointed as chairman and non-executive director of Global Wine Ventures, a South Australian-based wine producer. The company changed its name from Xanadu Wines last month, following the sale of the Xanadu wine brand to a company associated with the Rathbone family. Mr Keys has significant corporate and management experience, having held numerous company directorships and chairmanships. Ken Richards, a non-executive director, has announced his intention to resign as a director of the company, upon the appointment of a suitable replacement. The changes to the board of directors are a further step in the restructure of the company, GWV said.
