Perth-based GRD Ltd has been awarded a contract by Rio Tinto to carry out order of magnitude studies on the Sulawesi nickel project in Indonesia.
The project comprises two nickel laterite ore bodies on the east coast of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi.
As part of the studies, GRD subsidiary, GRD Minproc, will look at processing plant options and utility services.
