Perth-based GR Engineering Services has won a $7 million contract for work at Eldorado Gold Corporation’s Olympias project in Greece.
The scope of work involves the design and construction of a 385,000 tonnes per annum gold, lead and zinc concentrator at the Olympias project, with engineering design already under way.
GR expects to complete work under the contract by the end of next year.
“We are pleased to see continued momentum behind our geographical expansion with this additional project award in Europe,” GR managing director Geoff Jones said.
“Our team looks forward to working with Eldorado as it progresses with Phase 2 of developing this regionally significant project.”
GR shares were trading 0.5 per cent higher to 90 cents each at 10am.
