Global Construction Services’ half-owned subsidiary, Gallery Facades, has won a $62 million contract with Lendlease for work on the east coast.

Perth-based GCS said today Gallery, in which it owns 51 per cent, had been contracted for the supply and installation of high-performance architectural facades to the Y3, Melbourne Quarter and Bendigo Hospital projects in Victora, as well as the Darling Square south-east plot in NSW for Lendlease.

The work will be carried out over the coming 18 months.

“The GCS group is pleased Gallery has been awarded the facade work for these east coast developments, and to build a successful partnership with Lend Lease Building,” GCS managing director Enzo Gullotti said.

“Our proven track record and capability in the commercial sector positions both GCS and Gallery to capitalise on the significant investment pipeline in the sector throughout FY17 and beyond.”

GCS shares were 0.3 per cent higher to 56.7 cents at 10am.
