Fishing Industry Seminar

On Thursday November 30 the Department of Fisheries WA, in conjunction with the Australian Venture Capital Association will hold a Fishing Industry Seminar for the Financial Sector at the Novotel Langley Perth.

Keynote speakers at the event will be Department of Fisheries executive director Peter Rogers, Western Australian Fishing Industry Council chief executive Graham Short, Department of Fisheries WA Marine Research Laboratory director Dr Jim Penn, Western Rock Lobster Council executive director Stephen Gill, Department of Fisheries senior commercial fisheries management officer Ms Jo Kennedy, Shark Bay Prawn Trawl Operators Association executive officer Graham Stewart and Pearl Producers Association executive officer Brett McCallum.

Speakers at the seminar will present a report and overview on each of their industry areas, with question and discussion time at the conclusion of the seminar.
