Alan Robson has been elected chairman of WA’s Pastoral Lands Board, in a move that marks the first academic to chair the PLB.
Professor Robson is currently deputy vice chancellor of the University of WA.
He has previously served as dean of the Agriculture faculty at UWA and as a director of the Co-operative Research Centre for legumes in Mediterranean Agriculture.
Furthermore, Professor Robson chairs the Sustainability for Pastoralism working group, established at last year’s Gascoyne Muster.
