AUSTRADE’S export opportunity of the week is for a reverse osmosis water treatment plant for turbid and brackish water in Lebanon.
According to Austrade export adviser Henry Cawte, the opportunity has a notional value of $500,000.
It is for a water treatment plant with a capacity of 100,000 litres per day of treated water.
Mr Cawte said enquiries concerning dairy were the most common and the Middle East was the most prominent source of export opportunities.
He said Austrade had received more than 50 inquiries from Australian businesses relating to new opportunities that have been identified by Austrade staff around the world.
