The Committee for Economic Development in Australia is holding a seminar luncheon on the key issues and progress in export infrastructure and access since the release of the prime minister’s Infrastructure Taskforce Report, September 12 at the Hyatt Regency. The guest speaker for this event is Dr Brian Fisher, chairman of the PM’s Exports and Infrastructure Taskforce. Dr Fisher was first appointed executive director of the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ABARE) in 1988 and has since held positions on a number of government boards and committees including the Australian Centre for Mineral and Energy Economics and the Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre advisory board.
