The Note is a little bit of a lounge lizard so we always appreciate other people getting off the sofa to do something energetic, especially if it’s for charity.Among the more creative will be this Saturday’s inaugural Boardroom Blitz, featuring more than 70 budding rock stars from local companies across Perth taking part in a corporate rock charity event to raise funds for Princess Margaret Hospital at Challenge Stadium.Teams from iiNet, Hawaiian, JWH Group, Kosmic AXIS, City of Belmont, Land Band and Perth Home Care Services are taking part.Currently recruiting corporate teams is the Murdoch Children’s Research Fundraiser the Foxtel Lap which asks people to run continuously all day on a treadmill to raise money. The event is back on in Perth on October 24.
