Resourceful events is organising a two day forum intended for executives and their personal assistants, November 29 and 30 at The Duxton Hotel. This forum has been designed to provide an opportunity for executives and their PA’s to gain valuable tools and strategies to overcome challenges faced together and personally each day at work. Speaker for the event include: Olivia Crowley – executive assistant to WA Premier Alan Carpenter; Julie Barker – executive assistant to CEO, Fortescue Metals Group; Kate Casson - national president, Australian Institute of Office Professionals; Keith Bales – former executive assistant and marketing/promotions group director to Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corporation; Dawn Rouse – divisional executive director to the director business & regional operations, Department of Water; Ron Gibson – director, Go Networking; Ann Gillbanks – executive assistant to managing director, Wester Power; Sheila Rejek – executive assistant to CEO, Verve Energy; Amanda Leet – financial controller, Aspermont Ltd; Arlene Quinn – director, People Performance Plus; and Kathleen Brown – executive assistant to WA development division director, Stockland. Topics will include: outlining essential qualities executives should look for in a PA; tools and tips for developing an effective PA-boss partnership; budgeting and finance fundamentals for PA’s; strategies for managing conflict and dealing with difficult people; and effective strategies for conquering time management. Registration for this event costs $885 for Australian Institute of Office Professionals members and $1185 for non members.
