ILUKA Resources will announce the retirement of Ian Mackenzie as chairman and a director of the company at its next annual general meeting, to be held in May 2008. Mr Mackenzie was appointed to the board as chairman in July 1999. Bob Every (pictured), who joined the board in 2004, has been appointed deputy chairman and will take on the position following the 2008 AGM. Mr Every is a director of Wesfarmers and Boral and was formerly the managing director and CEO of OneSteel, from which he retired in May 2005.
