WESTERN Australia has recorded the largest jump in employer confidence of all Australian states and territories, according to the latest Hudson Report: Employment Expectations survey.
WA recorded by far the largest increase in sentiment in Australia, up 23 per cent from last quarter, with a net 43.1 per cent of employers indicating an intention to increase their permanent staff levels over the January-March 2010 period.
This is well above the national average of 29.1 per cent.
