Effective Negotiation Skills

On Thursday February 10 UWA Extension will hold Effective Negotiation Skills for Everyone.

The workshop will be facilitated by Robert Gordon and will examine ways to practice strategic negotiation in order to gain tangible results.

Topics covered over the course of the one-day seminar include an overview of the most effective negotiation strategy to successfully navigate any transaction, how to prepare for any negotiation, how to map and calculate interests of others, how to think divergently to create possibilities for better outcomes, self awareness and monitoring variables, distinguishing between positional bargaining and interest based negotiation, the power of silence, powerful questioning techniques, negotiating gambits and how to set an arrangement and make it work.
