CAPE Mentelle senior winemaker John Durham has resigned from his leading role and will join the team at Moss Wood. A statement from Cape Mentelle said: “As a growing business, the responsibilities of the winemaking team are expanding and John has found it challenging to balance this requirement with his family commitments”. It also said Mr Durham, who was part of Cape Mentelle for 21 years, was eager to spend more time with his children. Moss Wood owners Keith and Clare Mugford could not be contacted by WA Business News to confirm that Mr Durham had joined their winery.
