Dowerin to the city

Tuesday, 25 July, 2006 - 22:00
THE foyer of the QV1 building is set to resemble a barn yard from July 31, when the team behind the Dowerin GWN Machinery Field Days visit the city to drum up some publicity for their up coming signature event. The Note got the word from Dowerin that the group will be holding a week-long exhibition featuring no less than three tractors, examples of other farm machinery, a field days car, a bio-diesel display by Gull Petroleum, a display of wines from Vasse Felix and, to top it off, a regional photography display. The official launch event will take place on Wednesday August 2, with Agriculture Minister Kim Chance to address the guests and MC Ted Bull monitoring proceedings. The exhibition is free from 8am and 5.30pm, up until August 4.
