Straits Resources Ltd CEO Milan Jerkovic has increased his direct and indirect interest in the company through and on-market trade and through the issue of securities under a prospectus approved by shareholders at the company’s annual general meeting on May 24. Mr Jerkovic acquired 25,000 shares at $3.74 per share and one million shares at $3.96, resulting in a total value of $4 million. He now holds 4.2 million shares valued at $17 million. Straits Resources Ltd executive director Martin Purvis has also taken up further shares through the annual general meeting share issue approval, with the acquisition of 375,000 shares at $3.96 per share. He now owns over one million shares valued at $4.2 million. Red Hill Iron Ltd non executive director Joshua Pitt has increased his indirect interest in the company through an off market purchase of 530,000 shares worth $1.2 million. He now owns 2.7 million shares valued at $5.9 million.
