GREAT Southern Plantations non-executive chairman David Griffiths has purchased 130,000 shares in the company, worth $458,000. Mr Griffiths’ shares are held through indirect interests and were bought on-market, according to an Australian Stock Exchange announcement. Woodside Petroleum chairman Charles Goode has acquired nearly 5,000 shares in the oil and gas company, worth $167,129, in accordance with the company directors’ share plan, Woodside said in an ASX statement. Precious Metals Australia shares worth about $120,000 and indirectly associated with PMA chairman, the Earl of Warwick Guy Greville, have been purchased on-market, according to an ASX announcement. The 140,000 shares associated with the Earl were sold after a sale of 150,000 shares a week earlier and the sale of about five million shares in order to make up for an oversubscription to a PMA share placement mid-last month, also associated with Mr Greville.
