Newly-appointed Fortescue Metals Group chairman Andrew Forrest has gifted 8 million shares to various charitable organisations. With the company’s shares currently trading at $6.69 each, these shares are worth $53.5 million in total. Mr Forrest retains an interest of 965 million shares worth almost $6.5 billion in FMG.
