Fortescue Metals Group chief executive Nev Power has acquired almost 250,000 shares in the WA iron ore miner over the past week. Mr Power picked up 216,375 shares on-market for $1 million, while the rest were performance shares awarded at no cost for the calendar year to June 30, 2011. Mr Power holds 640,389 shares in FMG worth $3.1 million.
Aurora Oil & Gas technical director Ian Lusted has sold 300,000 shares on-market to raise about $1 million. Mr Lusted retains an interest of about 1 million shares in the North American oil and gas producer, currently worth $3.5 million.
