Diploma wins contracts worth over $100m

Belmont-based construction company Diploma Group Ltd has secured five new contracts, boosting its work in hand to over $400 million.

Projects awarded include a three level residential apartment complex, a 30,000m2 bulky goods showroom development and a 14 storey CBD office building. Importantly these projects represent a variety of sectors, from residential (26%), to industrial (21%) and office (53%).

Diploma managing director, Nick Di Latte said the contracts further boosted the Diploma Groups work in hand to in excess of $400 million, with revenue streams flowing through in financial years 08/09 and 09/10.

"The Group is focused on a growth strategy across both the construction and property divisions of the company," Mr Di Latte said.

"Diploma Group has an established and successful track record in the construction industry and the awarding of these contracts further demonstrates our position in the construction industry and our expertise in a diverse portfolio of work and across a range of sectors."
