Engineering and construction contractor Decmil Group has won a $17 million extension to its contract with QGC for work at the Queensland Curtis LNG project in Gladstone.
Under the extension, Decmil will continue to provide wellsite installation services through to June next year.
The scope of work involves supporting QGC’s operations with wellhead construction, logistics, material management and a range of construction services.
The extension builds on an $80 million contract Decmil was awarded by QGC in December 2013 to provide installation services at the QCLNG project.
In January last year, Decmil received a $65 million extension to the same contract.
Decmil shares were 1.5 per cent higher to $1.01 each at 11:15am.
