Curtin University has appointed Perth-based agencies Longreach Media and Carat to work on the university’s domestic media planning and buying.

Longreach Media and Marketing was established in 2018 by former Marketforce executives John Driscoll and Angela Nutton, and will focus on the university’s media and marketing strategy.

Carat, a subsidiary of UK-based media and marketing company Dentsu Aegis Network, will focus on the university’s media placement.

Curtin University director of brand and marketing Kate Jennings said it was crucial the university appointed agencies that could deliver contemporary media strategies.

“We believe this partnership model gives Curtin access to the high level of strategy and industry experience needed to cement Curtin as WA’s most preferred university,” she said.

Longreach Media and Carat will take over from Sydney-based agency Global RevGen, which will continue to work with the university on its international media planning and buying.
