‘Coup’ for the Peninsula

Mirvac Fini development director Evan Campbell said the news of the Peninsula, Burswood’s first commercial tenant, Subiaco foodie Christopher Hillier, was a “coup” for the community at the Peninsula.

The news, as detailed in WA Business News’ Gusto section this week, comes as Mirvac Fini prepares for next week’s release of the second apartment building at the development.

Mr Hiller will provide a gourmet deli and cafe similar to his Rockeby Road store, food by christopher hiller.

“We invited Christopher Hiller to join forces with us for two reasons – firstly using an established name in the Perth food arena brings with it prestige and trust in the product,” Mr Campbell said. “Secondly, I believe bringing services such as this to the project in stage 1 is essential for the creation of a vibrant community at the Peninsula.”

Mr Hiller said he was very excited to be opening his second outlet at the Peninsula development and looked forward to further growth in his business.

“Our aim is to provide premises that will be at the forefront of convenience retail design based on leading edge concepts out of New York and London,” he said.

“We will be setting a new benchmark for the industry in Perth.”

The new outlet will provide breakfasts, lunches, bread, a juice bar, cheese room, cakes, picnic hampers and catering in residents’ apartments for dinners or cocktail parties.
