Acuity Investment Management Limited has appointed Tony Cunningham as a director following the resignation of Graham Morrow. Stephen Birkbeck has been appointed as an independent non-executive director for Atlas Pacific Limited. Mr Birkbeck is the founder and chief executive officer of sandalwood oil producer Mt Romance. Dragon Mining has appointed Simon Solomons as Nordic executive general manager operations. Mr Solomons is a mining engineer with 25 years’ experience in Australia and internationally, and will be responsible for overseeing the expansion of Dragon’s Nordic-focused gold business into multi-mine operations. Stephen Graves has resigned as non-executive director for Enviromission Limited. ASX-listed company Equigold NL has appointed Ross Kestel and Puano Lee as independent non-executive directors. Mr Kestel and Mr Lee will also be members of the board’s audit committee. Mr Kestel has been a director of accounting practice Nissen Kestel Harford since 1980. Mr Lee has a background in banking and real estate. He was previously an alternate director to Equigold chairman Stephen Lee. Philip Ragan has retired as managing director for the Flexi Property Fund but will remain as an executive director until a replacement is found. This follows his appointment as managing director of the Peet Income Property Fund. Stephen Spiers, chairman of Flexi Property Fund, will become an executive director. Michael Ruane and Peter Hunt have resigned as directors of Greater Pacific Gold Limited. Murray MacDonald has resigned as managing director for Legend Mining Limited; the company has appointed company secretary Andrew Chapman as an interim director. Paladin Resources Limited has appointed Sean Llewelyn and Cliff Davis as independent non-executive directors; Leon Pretorius has resigned as a director of the company. Warwick Grigor has been appointed as executive director for Peninsula Minerals Limited; the company also appointed David Lenigas as a non-executive technical director. Richard Monti resigned as a director of the company. Following the sale of Westralia Property Trust to Prestige Property Holdings Pty Ltd on April 14 2005, there have been a number of changes to Westralia’s board. Brett Jackson and Graeme Goff have resigned as directors and three new directors have been appointed: Les Wozniczka, Peter Hall and Tony Davies. Mr Wozniczka is the chief executive officer of Futuris Corporation Limited, which owns Prestige Property Holdings. Graeme Goff and Colin Tier also resigned as company secretaries and have been replaced by David Hinton and Sonya Furey. Yilgarn Gold Limited has appointed Peter Vassileff as chairman, Graeme Clatworthy and Nigel Gellard as directors and Neville Bassett as company secretary; Reg Eccles and Lindsay Colless resigned as directors of the company. Intellect Holdings executive chairman Jos Haag has ceased his executive role and plans to retire as a director once the board appoints a new chairman. The company is also seeking to recruit a new chief executive. In the interim, Pieter Marx will handle day-to-day management. Non-executive director Graham Henderson also plans to retire from the board. Warren McLeland and Paul Phillips have been appointed non-executive directors and Ross Kestel, a director of South Perth accounting firm Nissen Kestel Harford, has been appointed company secretary.
