Forge Group subsidiary Cimeco has won two contracts from the Water Corporation, with a combined value of $12.2 million.

A $6.9 million deal will see Cimeco provide services for the Water Corp’s regional wastewater stations, dam intake towers and elevated towers, while a $5.3 million contract will cover services for metropolitan wastewater stations throughout Perth.

“These contracts are a first for Forge and are therefore important to the future growth of our asset management business,” managing director David Simpson said.

“They will enable Forge to utilise its existing design and construct expertise whilst building its capability in maintenance, sustaining capital works and asset management.”

Works commences in October and will continue through until August next year.

At close of trade today, Forge shares were up 2 per cent, trading at $4.07.
