The Clough Helix joint venture has contracted the Normand Clough vessel for a well decommissioning project in the South China Sea.
The vessel is expected to mobilize in July and it is expected the project will last for about 90 days.
In a statement, Clough said that the vessel is in Singapore being fitted out with the equipment needed for the operation.
Clough's CEO John Smith said, "We are delight to be awarded this work, only three months after the launch of the Clough Helix Joint Venture."
"It is an encouraging start. It is also pleasing to see Clough return to China having been involved in the original construction of the facilities," he said.
