Integrated solutions specialist EnerMech will provide pipeline services to Chevron’s oil and gas facilities in Western Australia under a new five-year contract.

UK-headquartered EnerMech specialises in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and inspection services, with operations in more than 40 locations globally.

The business launched in Perth in 2009 and has since expanded across Australia. It was acquired by The Carlyle Group in 2018.

EnerMech has provided services to Chevron since 2006.

The scope of works under the new agreement includes pipe cleaning, nitrogen purging and process plant drying, integrity leak and pressure testing, hydraulic hose integrity management and specialist hydraulic services.

“This award recognises our ongoing commitment to serving Chevron and will allow us to build on the foundations we have in Australia as we further enhance our technology offering,” Asia Pacific regional director Paul McCarthy said.

He said EnerMech had built a trusted relationship with Chevron and was proud to continue the partnership.
