CHANGE Corporation has won the tender to deliver the Western Australian Tourism Commission with an online redevelopment.

While the final details of the contract are yet to be announced, including the tender price, industry speculation suggests the contract is worth $500,000 to Change Corporation.

According to Change Corporation director Stephen Langsford, the WATC contract is the first of many new business deals struck by the IT services firm.

“We are pretty flat out because we are winning a bit of work,” Mr Langsford said. “We are finding that there is more public sector IT spending and Change Corporation, as a new player, now has referenceable project delivery.”

Those projects included Woodside, Water Corporation and Snap Printing.

Mr Langsford said Change Corporation was recruiting in several areas of IT to accommodate its growth.
