Cedar Woods Properties has appointed Webb and Brown-Neaves to construct its townhouse development in Subiaco.

The 41-townhouse project, called Incontro, is planned for a 1.5 hectare site at 133 Salvado Road Subiaco.

Site works for Incontro are expected to commence this week, starting with the demolition of the site by RJ Vincent & Co.

Webb and Brown-Neaves, which forms part of the ABN Group, is expected to start construction on the townhouses in the first half of 2021, with overall construction cost estimated at $55 million.

Cedar Woods said more than 50 per cent of the development’s first release had been sold within two weeks of opening.

WA state manager Ben Rosser said the additional six month extension of the state government’s $20,000 WA Building Bonus Scheme provided opportune timing for homebuyers.

"Buyers of Incontro town homes will have the added benefit of the evolving suburb of Subiaco, which includes a $500 million revival of the area, ultimately improving the community as a whole,” he said.

“Webb and Brown-Neaves is Perth’s leading luxury home builder. They form part of the ABN Group and hold a strong, influential reach within the western suburbs market, including 20% market share of all new builds in the western suburbs over the past five years.”

ABN executive general manager Dean O'Rourke said the project was well-located, close to amenities including public transport, hospitality and major medical precincts.
