CPB awarded major Rio Tinto contracts

CPB Contractors has been selected to deliver key works at Rio Tinto’s Robe Valley projects, including various earthworks, civil works, bridges, pits and water supply infrastructure.

A subsidiary of CIMIC Group, CPB employs 638 people in WA and has worked on Roe 8 regeneration, as well as upgrades to Armadale Road, Wanneroo Road and Murdoch Drive.

The contracts, which come one month after CPB was chosen to deliver works for Metronet as part of a consortium with Downer, will be completed by 2021, with the projects worth around $150 million.
