Business sitting pretty in WA boom

THE WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with BankWest have released the results of their Business Confidence Survey. Apparently, the stats show that business confidence in the WA economy has reached a 10-year high this quarter. The survey noted that most businesses were capitalising on current economic conditions, with 93 per cent describing conditions as positive for business. Respondents also believe interest rates will not adversely affect their operations, although a further increase in rates is expected to have negative consequences.
