A WA bank has launched the first business credit card enabling customers to earn reward points on business expenses.
The BankWest Business Extra Visa lets businesses redeem points on a wide range of products, including fuel,
stationery, office equipment and entertainment as well as flights with Air New Zealand and Star Alliance carriers.
BankWest general manager of marketing Alan Jennings said the product had been developed in response to business customers asking for a business credit card offering a reward program.
“Many business customers have been using personal credit cards to bridge the gap and earn reward points but find personal credit card limits unsuitable,” Mr Jennings said.
“This card will help them manage business expenditure by providing higher credit limits.
“Other benefits include management reporting,
allowing easy monitoring and reconciliation of expenditure and liability waiver insurance.”
The product will initially be available to WA-based customers before being rolled out to other states later in the year.
