The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia is hosting a business breakfast with Oxiana Ltd’s managing director, Owen Hegarty, September 20 at the Parmelia Hilton. Mr Hegarty, a founding director of ASX listed mining company Oxiana, will speak on the company’s key success factors in becoming one of Australia’s major mining houses. He will discuss factors such as quality assets, high calibre people and a passion for performance and delivery. Although its head office is based in Melbourne, Oxiana has its Golden Grove sulphide base and precious metals operation based in WA, employing over 530 staff and contractors.
