Broad Construction Services has won a contract from the state government to redevelop facilities at Kalamunda Senior High School, a project previously handled by FIRM Construction.

The Department of Finance selected Broad Construction to deliver the $31.1 million project, which is being funded through the WA recovery program.

The new facilities were designed by Perth-based TAG Architects.

Firm was working on six projects for the Department of Finance when it entered voluntary administration in November last year, including the redevelopment project at Kalamunda Senior High School.

Separately, Broad Construction’s contract to oversee construction of the new football centre in Queens Park is scheduled to be completed this month.

The state government awarded the Perth-based builder with a $31.2 million contract in 2022 to deliver WA’s new $45.96 million stadium in time for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, which kicks off on July 20.
