Brett Matich rolls three Perth boards

Colbern Nominees, a company backed by Brett Matich, has successfully rolled the boards of three Perth-based explorers, Prime Minerals, Blazed International and Power Resources.

In three separate but similar announcements today, the companies said major shareholder Colbern Nominees had cancelled its request for extraordinary meetings that were to be held next month.

All three companies said that in order to provide an opportunity to concentrate on fresh projects and to seek new direction, all three directors on each of explorers' boards have decided to resign.

The main casualty of the board spills was Vincent Hyde, who was chairman on all three boards.

A team comprising of Sol Majteles (a partner at Lavan Legal), Michael Scivolo (partner at Perth accounting firm Alessandrino Scivolo) and Robert Collins (former chairman of Lumacom and Tiger Resources) will be appointed to each of the companies' boards.

It is likely that Prime Minerals will drop its Supreme Court case against Mr Matich, a former business partner of Mick Shemesian, and Colbern over an alleged breach of project procurement obligations.
