The American Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding a breakfast briefing with newly appointed US consul general Kenneth Chern, September 27 at the Hyatt Regency. Mr Chern was appointed consul general in August 2007. He was previously deputy consul general in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and prior to that served as deputy director of the Office of Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore Affairs at the US Department of State.
