Advertising agency Block Branding has secured four new pieces of business worth $300,000 in fees.

Over the past month, Block has won projects for EarthCare, a sustainable services firm in Western Australia, and East Perth Redevelopment Authority, the body committed to revitalising urban areas in Perth.

Block will also re-brand Machin Architecture & Interiors, while also winning a project with an unnamed luxury brand. Collectively, these four new business wins are worth $300,000 in fees.

"In a fragile economy, clients are reassessing strategies and, if the new business enquiries we are receiving are any indication, they are taking the opportunity to review agency relationships. It would seem that many are looking for more strategic solutions from agencies who are not encumbered by traditional, media-centric ways of thinking," says Kylie Telfer, director of strategy.

"We've worked very hard over the past five years to fine-tune our business to be viable in tougher times. We have always been acutely aware of Perth's boom/bust cycle, and have structured our business accordingly. Clients are turning to us for strategies that will help them manage their brands in weaker economic circumstances. We're very fortunate to be one of the agencies that is experiencing revenue growth," says Telfer.
